About the Ice Man

Gary Rabitoy first became concerned about ice machine health while servicing the machines used by one of Northern Michigan's largest vacation resorts.

Realizing what a big job it was to clean them regularly, he began to wonder just how often ice machines around the state were being cleaned. He was amazed by what he found.

After researching the health hazards and speaking with customers about machines that run poorly because of mineral build up, it became clear that the ice machine was one of the hardest used but least cared for machines in most commercial establishments.

He was also surprised to see that there are relatively few companies available to service the huge number of machines currently in use. Knowing that cleaning the ice machine is a job that owners would rather not use valuable employee hours for, The Ice Man is happy to offer assistance, whether by cleaning (local only), or offering a recommendation from the source of affiliates.
